Wireless meat vibrator

Over at I Make Projects some electronics geek has thunk up a device that reacts to the relative strengths of local wireless signals. It then transmits this information to the wearer by changing the rapidity of the vibrating “heartbeat” of the gizmo. Wonderful. Apparently, “meat” blocks the signals, so it’ll be a while before we get to install one directly into someone’s brain, but a couple of epilepsy-inducing electrodes could be used.

Imagine walking into some fiery urban hotspot, only to start twitching uncontrollably under the invisible barrage. Far more fun than the slow burn of cellphone usage, and reminiscent of Battling Seizure Robots (see this for a possible optic route to throwing a fit). Amaze (and worry) your friends!
